Payday Loans: A Different Kind of Loan

Posted by admin on Dec 25, 2011 in money matters

If you, like many Americans, find yourself counting every penny, cutting out luxuries, and still finding yourself in a financial bind when an unexpected expense occurs, you are not alone. 13.3 million Americans are unemployed. More are underemployed or not making enough money to cover emergency expenses like health care, dental care, or car repair. One accident, one illness, or one broken tooth can mean economic disaster for many people. Turning to a solution such as no ax payday loans from PayDay One can mean the difference between financial ruin and economic stability.

A Different Kind of Loan

A payday loan is different from a traditional bank loan in several ways. They require no credit check – you must simply show proof of employment. They have a much shorter term length – typically two weeks, although in some cases as long as a month.

Finally, no fax payday loans from PayDay One don’t require a lot of complicated paperwork. In short, a payday loan is a quick and easy way to get cash for those who qualify. Since qualification is based solely on employment and a listed phone number, most people can easily access this type of loan.

Building Your Credit: Credit Card Alternatives

Posted by admin on Dec 23, 2011 in money matters

While using a credit card and paying off your bill on time is the easiest way to build your credit, many people don’t trust credit cards because of the high interest rates and that it is far too easy to overspend. Your credit score is a measure of how frequently you pay your bills on time, so businesses will check your credit score to make sure you are a trustworthy customer. You generally need a decent score for things such as renting an apartment or setting up utility accounts. Whether you just turned 18 and don’t have a credit score or you are looking to improve your current rating, there are several ways to build your credit without a credit card.

Take Out a Loan

Taking out a loan is the easiest alternative to credit cards when you are looking to build your credit. Even if you don’t need the money from the loan, paying it back on time will increase your credit score. For easy payments and the best way to build your credit, consider the following types of loans:

  • Small Personal Loans – When building your credit, it’s best to take out small loans to avoid the chance of missing a payment. Only take out the amount you are willing to pay back. While most loans require a credit check, it is possible to find a personal loan company online that does not judge you by your score, and will still offer several hundred dollars at low interest rates.
  • Installment Loans – Installment loans are those that have a fixed amount to be paid back each period. On things such as credit cards, the amount to be paid can vary, but with installment loans, you always know how much to expect to pay back each month. This makes them great for building your credit because you can more easily budget them into your finances. Read more…

Brogues for Christmas

Posted by admin on Dec 22, 2011 in fashion, me, myself and i, shopping

Check out my shoes for Christmas. I haven’t bought them  yet but my husband gave me the go signal to purchase IF they can find my size.

It’s going to be his gift for me (yes, we choose our own gifts) which made me too thrilled for words. Now that I know that these are within reach, I’m wondering if this is the right choice or should I go for the new ones – Shibuya and Florence?

Babies + Labor = Push Gift

Posted by admin on Dec 14, 2011 in health, home, me, myself and i, shopping

Whenever a friend of mine is pregnant and as soon as we’ve tackled the usual baby/pregnancy/motherhood questions, I always ask if she has prepared a list for her push gift. I’m surprised that most of them have no idea what it is so if you’re one of them, let me enlighten you.

My personal definition of a push gift is something that a husband gives his wife after undergoing labor which is almost always difficult, long and life-threatening. It’s some sort of a thank you token for bringing a baby into this world. My rule for this is it has to be something that you will not buy on your own. It could be as expensive as hell or something that is very hard to acquire.

As for my youngest, the Husband bought me my first Louis Vuitton handbag (first because I believe I will have another one soon!). He gave it to me even before I gave birth which I think was the reason why I had such a hard time during labor. Anyway, having a baby is priceless but having a gift aside from the little one wouldn’t hurt too.

Shopping for Work

Posted by admin on Dec 2, 2011 in online life, shopping, technology

Just ticked off barcode scanner from the list of things that I need to buy online for my client. There’s about 20 more items but I couldn’t complain. Shopping gives me a high even if the item that I’m buying is not for me. It could even be as boring as purchasing a dedicated server or something important like a $2500 worth of domain names. Of course, nothing beats buying clothes and shoes for myself but since I am on a tight budget right now, I’d be happy to just shop for my clients instead. After all, I’d get paid to shop for them which means that at the end of the day, I will have extra cash to spend on myself!

Fab and Fit Maternity Wear

Posted by admin on Nov 11, 2011 in fashion, me, myself and i, shopping

Traditional and matronly maternity clothes are a thing of the past. Now, pregnant moms can be as fashionable as they used to be pre-pregnancy! There are even maternity clothes called transition which allows you to wear the outfit during your first trimester, upon giving birth, while breastfeeding and as a regular outfit when you’re finally back to your old size. Here’s one example while pregnant, breastfeeding and without the baby bump.

Imagine how much money you can save! I’ve hoarded items like these when I was pregnant and I’m happy to say that I can still wear some of them and I’m not back to my pre-pregnancy shape.

Girls Rock!

Posted by admin on Nov 8, 2011 in fashion, me, myself and i, shopping

We recently attended a rock star themed birthday party with my daughters. Some of my friends had a hard time deciding on what to wear but I was lucky to have several pieces that will work so I didn’t have to buy any. I just had my eldest wear her fluffy mini-skirt, tight black leggings, DM-type lace up brown boots and a jeweled purple with cropped sleeves. My youngest on the other hand wore her pink and brown leopard dress. I noticed that the mothers were wearing rock star outfits too. I was happy that none of them were over the top as some fashionable moms tend to do these days or worse, wear something like a fishnet body suit that I saw online. We could all agree that this kind of outfit is more suitable for adult parties for two (wink). Anyway, here are some really cute rock star outfits if ever you find yourself looking for one.

You can either buy these or just make one similar to them.
