Man! Those eczema pictures that I saw online are enough to give me a nightmare. I know I shouldn’t be looking at less-than-appropriate photos now that I’m pregnant but my friend insisted that I check them out. All I can say right now is I’m so glad I inherited my mother’s good skin. At least I have one less thing to worry about myself. With weight gain, bad hair days and curves at the wrong places, who needs another confidence-killer? I hope my kids will get my mom’s skin as well so they won’t have to spend their money on expensive face creams and treatments when they grow up.

My friend is thinking of buying an orlando timeshare and I can’t help but be envious of her good fortune. Here I am still can’t afford even the modest of all timeshares while she obviously ran out of properties to buy. To be fair however, it’s not luck but pure hard work. She’s known to never take a break, vacation leaves and sick leaves that her company had to force her to take a whole week for everyone’s sake.
I’ve been teased for being a workaholic but nothing can hold a candle to this friend of mine when it comes to working non-stop. I do admire what she’s become though. If you ask her however, she’ll say she’d rather have a family of her own that she can spoil instead of multiple properties. Her time will come I know just as I know that our time will eventually arrive when we can purchase houses left and right as well.

I’m lucky about never needing acne scar removal or skin eraser. I’ve seen friends go ga-ga over the latest treatments only to find out that they make things worse for their skin. There’s really no one-size-fits-all treatment so my recommendation is to research thoroughly before purchasing anything especially if they cost more than $60 and up.
My own mother is very meticulous when it comes to skin care and at an early age, she taught me how to take care of mine. I didn’t agree to using astringents however as I get scared whenever I see my mom’s red skin. Her cleanse, tone and moisturize regimen never failed me though. Even when I’m too tired, I always make sure that I cleans and moisturize at least before I go to sleep. Just because we’re young
doesn’t mean we should take our skin for granted.

A kymaro body shaper will be on top of my wishlist as soon as I give birth. I love products like this because it makes women feel special by giving them the chance to wear clothes that will make them feel beautiful. This body shaper hides all bulges, lumps and bumps. It smoothens lines that even your bra straps will disappear. It’s very affordable too! I can’t wait to buy this so I can go back to wearing my form-fitting blouses and dresses without displaying the post-pregnancy bulges for everyone to see!

No, I don’t need any weight loss pills. What I need are new clothes because my pre-pregnancy outfits don’t fit me anymore. Thanks to online shops like Old Navy, I can have a choice of affordable but still fashionable maternity clothes.
Just love this fab full-panel distressed boot-ct jeans for only $25.
And this lightweight pleated tunic for $15
These low-rise shorts are a must too especially now that Summer is just around the corner.
And lastly, I need a swim suit that will fit my growing belly. For only $17.50, I can still wear them a couple of months after giving birth.

Have you seen any crash diets that work? For a long time I mean? I know a friend who lost 15 lbs in a matter of weeks but without exercise, she got them all back. We all hope for a magical solution when it comes to losing weight. This magical pill will keep the pounds off no matter what we eat and even if we don’t exercise. It’s perfect for working women and moms who just don’t have the time to run, let alone lift a dumbbell. Yet no such thing exists. And we’re left with options – keep the weight on and be depressed, try all kinds of diets and pills no matter what the cost- money or health-wise or live healthily and lose the weight slowly but surely.

Kettlebells are everywhere online but couldn’t find any from our local malls. I wanted to try this out the first time that I saw it. The way you could tone your muscles in a few weeks is very impressive and very timely as I need to attend a wedding by January. However, now that I’m pregnant, I don’t think I can indulge in any strenuous activities. I’m still gonna walk on the treadmill but that will be it. Walk, not run. I don’t want to blow up like a balloon but don’t want to stress myself either.

Ever wanted bathrooms like the ones in HGTV? I do! I think bathrooms are the second most important part of a house next to master’s bedroom. The bathroom almost always make or break our hotel options too. No matter how nice the bedrooms are, if the bath area is too cramped and have the possibility of flooding when you take a bath, it’s definitely a no-no.
This applies to our home right now. If you will see our bathroom, you’d be happy to spend hours in it reading a magazine or listening to music while having a long, fantastic bath. Yet I still can think of a few improvements if only we have enough budget to re-model.
If we’re talking about dream bathrooms, I’d definitely want to have a Jacuzzi like the ones being sold at betterbathrooms.com.

My plans of renovating our room is still on hold (see here). However, my husband and I made progress in cleaning up our hallway. I haven’t taken any photos yet but everything looks much better now. The books in the bookshelves inside our room can now breathe because I moved half of the contents to the new racks and placed them in the hallway. At first I wanted to categorized the books from favorites to not-so-used to dust gatherers but it was taking me too long. I ended up getting them in tens and just stacked them in any order.
But really, what I want to achieve is this.

My husband promised that we will do this as soon as we move to a bigger place next year. I’m excited! If we’re lucky, I might have a chance to get my own work area too.
