For Couples

Posted by admin on Jan 7, 2011 in shopping

I love shopping for couples! It’s because I know what most of them like and if not, gift certificates will do. For our special friends who’s celebrating their anniversary though – I like to give them something similar to couples gifts jewelry that I found online. I know men are not crazy about jewelry but the ones that I like are very simple, just a simple band if it’s bracelet or a small locket that can contain each other’s photos.

Romance is in the Air

Posted by admin on Dec 8, 2010 in fashion, shopping

This is my latest favorite online shop – ASOS. Their collection are huge – from tops and bottoms to handbags and shoes to lingerie and even fabulous stuff for Men and kids. This helps a lot since you don’t have to jump to another online store just to shop for them. Perfect for holiday shopping/splurging for one reason – they are just so affordable I want to hoard all their bags and outfit to last for one whole year!

1900s Travel Kit

Posted by admin on Dec 6, 2010 in shopping, travel, web sites

image Wow! I just found some really cool bday gifts for dad online! I wish I’ve seen them before I went shopping for my husband’s birthday and for his Christmas presents. I know he will love this leather excursion travel case. He’s into all things old-school and this 1900s-inspired kit definitely fits the bill. It’s made of brown full-grain leather with a hanging hook, four generous pockets with removable case, canvas lining that unsnaps for cleaning up and mesh pocket for wet items. It’s so nice that I am adding this to my wish list so I’d know what to give him next year.

New Tune

Posted by admin on Dec 1, 2010 in me, myself and i, shopping

So my husband changed his wish list item #3. From a new pair of running shoes, he now wants to upgrade our home theater speakers. He never runs out of things that he wants to buy. Which isn’t any surprise since he rarely gets to cross out any. Now that his birthday is near plus his Christmas gift, I’ve decided to give him the top three items on his list. That’s how lucky he is for having me as his wife. ;)

With that said, I’ll have to start with my budget sheet to see how much we can still save after all the shopping I’ve been doing since October!

All He Wants for Christmas

Posted by admin on Nov 21, 2010 in shopping, technology

image … is a PS3. As if it’s something cheap that I can easily buy it with my too many to count extra cash. Not! Guess he’ll just have to wait for Black Friday and bribe one of our friends to get it for him. I heard the long lines will be much brutal this year plus the weather hasn’t been cooperating for the last few days.

Still, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that our cousin will get a good deal and not only that, that he may be able to grab one of the $89-wort DS Lites from Walmart’s Local ad. That is, if he’s not planing to buy one for his daughter. I was told you can only get one item per person which totally sucks as I’m planning to sell some laptops to my friends.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s

Posted by admin on Nov 15, 2010 in me, myself and i, shopping

I know I’m not going to have a diamond tennis bracelet anytime soon so I’m settling for something more affordable. I’ve always wanted to buy an item from Tiffany but every time I have money / save enough to buy one, another nice thing comes up. It’s hard when you have limited source of income. You can’t buy them all. You always need to choose between gadgets, jewelry, handbags or travel. Not that I always have extra money lying around. This is just for those few moments when I want to treat myself for bagging an unexpected project.

But I digress. Here are some of the gift items under $100 from Tiffany.

Holiday Outfit

Posted by admin on Nov 11, 2010 in fashion, shopping

Shopping time once again! I just received half of my December earnings so I’m treating myself with new outfits and perhaps some shoes from Tory Burch. It’s hard to shop for women’s dresses online because you can never know how they fit you until they arrive at your doorstep. Which is why I only buy from stores that I’ve tried. Starting the last week of November, we’ll be attending parties left and right so stocking up on new clothes is a must.

On my list are these:
