LVoE Your Feet

Posted by admin on Apr 20, 2010 in shopping

I’ve never been a fan of LV except for their handbags. But after seeing these from my email, I admit the styles are growing on me. Not that I’d ever have the heart to buy something as expensive for my feet but there’s no harm in looking. Window shopping after all is one of my favorite pastimes.

And while we’re at it, some really nice wallets / clutches for future purchase ;)

Can’t believe they cost as much as a handbag already!

By the way, here’s the desktop that I want to purchase.

Begs to Be Touched
Reach out and explore the Dell Studio One 19’s 18.5″ display with optional multi-touch screen functionality on a choice of Charcoal fabric trim options or Solid Pure White trim border

    * Crystal clear 16:9 widescreen flat panel HD display
    * User-friendly touch applications with optional multi-touch screen
    * Powerful NVIDIA®  graphics with up to an Intel®  Quad-Core processor
    * Optional wireless keyboard and mouse and optional built-in WiFi

The package that I want cost $749 only but since my only option is to buy it from the States, I need to ask one of my clients to purchase it for me. Who knows, maybe my boss might take pity on my and purchase this as part of my benefit of working for him? Well, that’s purely wishful thinking but even so, the price is really affordable I don’t know why I didn’t buy this when I had the money before.

Extra Cash for a New Machine

Posted by admin on Apr 15, 2010 in money matters, shopping

It’s been a long time since I talked about cash advance. I guess I’ve been very good in managing our expenses so there was no need for any. However, last week, I came across a very good deal for a Dell Desktop via email. The pricing was such a steal I couldn’t forget about it. I’ve been saving for so long to buy an extra machine for my design work but the supposed saving always gets spent on something else – travel, new furniture and other electronics.

Anyway, what’s great about cash advance is you can loan from $100 to $2500 and have it deposited overnight in your bank account as soon as you get approved. I saw the requirements and was happy to know tat I’m already pre-approved because I have a steady recurring income of at least $1,000 a month. All I have to do now is check how much the interest rate will be if I fail to meet the payment monthly. I doubt that will happen, as I have this fear of having too many debts but just to be on the safe side, I should calculate all expected costs.

Floral for Summer

Posted by admin on Apr 9, 2010 in fashion, shopping

I wasn’t a fan of all things flowery but when I saw the summer florals collection at Piperlime, I knew I just have to have one or two items.

Too bad they don’t have these in their maternity section! But I only got two months to go anyway so I’m thinking I can stock up on these until I lose all my pregnancy weight. After all, you don’t just wear them during summer months. The prints are not too noisy that you can wear them for brunch or early dinner with friends.

Shopping for Entertainment System

Posted by admin on Mar 20, 2010 in home, shopping, technology

The husband wants a new home theater now that we can use the 2nd smaller bedroom in the house. I checked Shopwiki on what they can recommend and found that most of them are way beyond our budget. An alternative is to just buy one of those affordable DVD players available in the Internet like Toshiba ($29.99-$75), Haier ($39.60-$60) and Sony ($22.49-$124) to name a few.

Portable DVD players are another option especially when we’re on the road. At least with a portable, he can watch movies at home and yet be able to bring his or our daughter’s movies with us when we travel.

Going back to Shopwiki’s buying guide, I find it really helpful how you can filter the selections by brand, by color, by price and by store. That way, you don’t have to scroll through hundreds of items just to find what you need. And in this guide is where I saw a huge listings of LCD TVs. I really want a 32″ LCD TV or bigger in the next few months. We rarely go out to watch a movie in the cinema so having our own “home theater” no matter if it’s just DIY would be a great addition.

Balenciaga – Another reason to drool

Posted by admin on Mar 20, 2010 in fashion, shopping

I am starting to hate Twitter and Flickr. Because of my online friends’ addiction to bags, I’m starting to get addicted too! Not that I can afford these (YET) but they are just so lovely to look at. :) The colors are so yummy you can wear them with any simple outfit and you’d still look fab!

Gucci – My New Wish List

Posted by admin on Feb 25, 2010 in me, myself and i, shopping

Now that I’ve finally acquired my dream bag, a Louis Vuitton Neverfull Damier Ebene, I know I want to have one more. It’s Gucci this time. The LV was a “push” gift from the Husband so I don’t think I can use the same reason now. I’ll have to buy this one on my own.

Joy Boston (medium) – Love the silver touch on this one. I have too many browns already.

E-Cigarettes Anyone?

Posted by admin on Feb 19, 2010 in shopping, technology

Ever heard of e cigarette? It’s an electronic cigarette that lets you enjoy a normal cigarette except this time, there’s no mess, there’s more puffs (around 250-300) and more smoke. It comes with 2 batteries and different flavors and nicotine levels. If you don’t like charging or changing batts, there’s also the disposable Ecigarette which is equivalent to 25 regular cigs. No need to unscrew or charge the batteries. You can have up to 360 puffs without having to change your cigarette.

Just Because You’re Pregnant Doesn’t Mean You Have to Wear Drab Clothes

Posted by admin on Feb 11, 2010 in fashion, shopping, women issues

No, I don’t need any weight loss pills. What I need are new clothes because my pre-pregnancy outfits don’t fit me anymore. Thanks to online shops like Old Navy, I can have a choice of affordable but still fashionable maternity clothes.

Just love this fab full-panel distressed boot-ct jeans for only $25.

And this lightweight pleated tunic for $15

These low-rise shorts are a must too especially now that Summer is just around the corner.

And lastly, I need a swim suit that will fit my growing belly. For only $17.50, I can still wear them a couple of months after giving birth. ;)

Two-Hour Baths

Posted by admin on Nov 6, 2009 in home, me, myself and i, shopping

I saw some really nice American Standard toilets online and just can’t help but dream about remodeling our bathroom. If ever I get a chance and if budget permits of course, I’m getting this claw foot bath tub too. It’s just so elegant and reminds me of Victorian era.

image

I don’t really want a vintage bathroom but this will be a nice touch for the modern style that I have in mind. Surrounded with white walls, warm bubbles and sunlight streaming into the windows, I can’t think of a better way to spend my afternoon. Well, aside from a free shopping spree at Barney’s or Louis Vuitton that is.
