Mail services have only become reliable in the last hundred years or so. In the earliest days of communication, there were no official post offices. Traders, fur trappers and merchants carried mail between different towns and forts, and each would establish their own personal prices for stamps.
Now, shipping mail over land feels like an archaic idea. Thankfully, jobseekers today have the opportunity to make use of modern conveniences when it comes to mail (and they can ditch the stamps). If you are looking for an easy way to send your résumé, you are going to need to start looking at the Internet.
Taking Advantage of Email
Hundreds of websites offer email services free of charge. They make money by filling their pages with other interesting content. Many sites that offer email also offer attention-getting headlines, games, social options and other perks designed to get you to look around at the rest of the pages after you have checked your mail. You can take advantage of the free mail to your heart’s content, and chances are you already have. Email today is so ubiquitous; many companies and corporations offer accounts to their employees.
If you haven’t got an email address, you are limiting what you can do with and on the Internet. Many sites require an email address (and little more than that) before allowing people to take advantage of all their services.
Accessing Job Portals
Lots of people regularly hunt for new jobs and opportunities, either to gain new clients or otherwise advance their careers. If you are applying to a lot of jobs (or even just one job) you need an easy way to send your résumé quickly to employers. To make that happen, you are going to need email (but sometimes email alone may not be enough).
Utilizing Fax Technology
Few individuals have a fax machine in their home offices, but many employers ask applicants to send a faxed copy of resumes. But you don’t have to run right out and buy a new machine, or run around trying to find a business which will fax your résumé for you.
The Internet offers some of the best fax technologies. Accessing the best email faxing with Metrofax, you will be able to send your resume in .PDF form to potential employers quickly and easily. MetroFax services are just as easy as sending an email, and all you need to get started is an email address.
Your time is valuable, especially when you are working on getting a job. You have to send resumes, but you also have to be aware of how much time it takes to do so. Email faxing makes it easy for you to get your name and information out there without ever leaving the comforts of your home.

My client had me buy acid cigars online as gift for his business associates. It was a great start to my work day – shopping. Even if it wasn’t for me, I still get a certain high adding items to the cart. Nothing can wake me better than a quick shopping spree regardless if it’s online or offline. Well, scratch that. The best thing that can wake or pick me up would be shopping for my own stuff.
But this will do for now. Enough for me to last a whole day’s work.

Just ticked off barcode scanner from the list of things that I need to buy online for my client. There’s about 20 more items but I couldn’t complain. Shopping gives me a high even if the item that I’m buying is not for me. It could even be as boring as purchasing a dedicated server or something important like a $2500 worth of domain names. Of course, nothing beats buying clothes and shoes for myself but since I am on a tight budget right now, I’d be happy to just shop for my clients instead. After all, I’d get paid to shop for them which means that at the end of the day, I will have extra cash to spend on myself!

I just finished reading a review for surface raceways and realized that I’ve been reading the same article for an hour. My eyes hurt and my creative juices are nonexistent. Before I get back to my designing tasks, I need to re-orient myself by online window shopping. This time, it’s all about comfy shoes. Let me share with you the latest collection from Anthology Shoes.

Global locals Anthology X Team Manila come together to bring you Avenida

I’ve been to our local branch of Forever 21 and never found anything that I liked. Not even remotely close to considering buying one. I don’t know if it has to do with the stocks here but I like the items better online. Case in point:

How come we don’t have these here?

I am so done researching for Polaris Ranger Accessories for my cousin-in-law. All I want to do now is gobble up two Krispy Kreme glazed doughnuts while window shopping online. It has been a while since I did some shopping for myself so I’m going to treat myself to a minor purchase. I wonder if the leopard print flats from Anthology are on sale now? If not that, I’d like to have a cute floral dress that I can wear on out of town trips. I’m getting dizzy from too much excitement and I barely even started looking.

Thanks to online coupons, I was able to purchase several hp laserjet ink cartridges for one of my clients. He decided to print our brochures in his office using his HP printer so we need all the ink we can get. After testing the colors on actual prints, I could safely say that we are good to print at least 500 pieces by the end of the week. He will hire his 13-year-old nephew to fold them. It may take longer but he’s saving about $400 based on the actual quotes that we got so far. I’m glad I don’t live near his place or else, he’ll probably have me folding and mailing them as well. But I’m glad he managed to save a lot. With start-up businesses such as his, it’s important to save whenever you can.

An idea occurred to me this morning. Instead of buying gifts for my friends overseas, I’ll just get them online gift cards. The choices are unlimited – from Dell, Zappos, Amazon, JC Penney, Foot Locker and many more! I should’ve thought of this sooner. I know I would personally love to get one so I can shop for what I really want.
I checked the DELL cards and they have $25, $50, and $100 denominations that you can use for cash back on laptops, desktops, printers and other electronics. This will be perfect for my cousin who just graduated.

I was searching what thermogenesis means but got distracted with this oh-so-beautiful bag from Mulberry. Who wants to read about metabolism and fat cells when you can oggle this beauty instead? I’ve been hearing about them from my online friends but it’s only now that I got a chance to actually look at it. I can’t afford it just yet but I could just see myself wearing it. I love how you can use it as a messengers bag or carry it in the crook of your arm.
Mulberry Alexa – Grape Soft Buffalo
I wouldn’t love it as much if only I didn’t see a friend carrying it in one of her photos. It’s just perfect and I know that even if I’m not working in a real office that it will complement most of the outfits on my closet. This bag is truly, effortlessly chic!

Oh my! What a great way to start my day. I opened my inbox and I got a few spam comments about a male enhancement product. I know I’ve installed several spam plugins on my blogs but they just kept coming back. I’m pretty sure they are not automatic bots but real people doing the spamming.
On another note, after clearing all the offensive comments, I saw that a long lost friend found me through my blog. She was looking for party suppliers and accidentally clicked one of my posts about my daughter’s birthday party. She was shocked to see my face and learn that I now have two daughters. It was so good to hear from her and I can’t wait to get a reply after my long, excited email to her today.
Again, amazing what technology can do!
