Early Bird Catches The Worm – Pun Intended

Posted by admin on May 8, 2010 in online life, technology, web sites

It’s funny what I got on my work mailbox today. It’s a flyer containing enzyte reviews. As if it’s something that I need! I wonder how they get email addresses? Have I ever visited a site that is connected somehow with enzyte? Worse, has my husband been visiting similar sites? Well, whatever it is, it’s just too much information on such an early morning. I need to get a cup of coffee first before I tackle all the other emails that are threatening to burst my inbox. It’s just weird that it went straight to my work email when the security and spam settings were set so high I am sometimes unable to receive emails from other clients.

Safe Products?

Posted by admin on Apr 21, 2010 in health, online life

I stumbled upon a site that bashes lipozene, a well-known diet pill. I was surprised that they openly tell consumers that it’s not very good but after reading the full article, it’s obvious that it’s because they are endorsing other products. It’s fine with me as long as it’s the truth and that the reviews are real. Many people don’t know what damage the Internet can do. Make sure you don’t believe everything that you see especially when it comes to products that could affect your health. Research and a visit to the doctor is still the best way to know if what you’re taking in is safe.

Benefits of Cash Loans

Posted by admin on Apr 16, 2010 in money matters, online life

Speaking of money, let me tell you about fast cash. My brother-in-law spent a lot of money when their car got flooded last typhoon Ondoy. The insurance covered some of it but it wasn’t enough. His predicament reminded me of Fast Cash Online which lets you get the cash you need as fast as one day. Too bad it’s not available where he’s located. I’m sure he’ll have no problems getting funds for the extra repair because he meets all the requirements.

Fast cash or cash advance loans are really great when you need emergency money. We all try to do our best to live beyond our means but sometimes we really have no control when disaster will strike. Even if it’s not an emergency, the extra cash can help you purchase a high ticket item that you’ve been saving up for so long or even go on a much-needed vacation with the family. It doesn’t matter where you will use it. As long as you meet the requirements, you’ll be pre-approved. Some of my friends even use the loans to pay their existing loans to avoid the all too high interest rates credit card companies and banks add to the principal.

You probably won’t notice anything weird but if you’re getting paid thousands of dollars to do these movie posters, perfection is the key.

Hiring Season

Posted by admin on Mar 11, 2010 in online life, work

Reading ten to twenty resumes is what I do every morning ever since I was assigned to hire a new writer for our virtual company. We don’t have a Human Resources department yet so it’s up to me to find the best candidates. At first, the idea sounded really cool. Imagine having the power to hire someone, change his/her life but it turned out it’s not as easy as it seems. For one, it’s just hard to find good people. So they are all experienced but they most of them lack work ethics or even loyalty at all. It seems people will jump at the first sight of greener pastures. I don’t take it against them but I need to find someone who will stay with us for a long time. Someone we can trust and guarantee that will do their best to be a part of the company’s success. So far, all of them are interested on what we can give them, not what they can give us.

Online

Posted by admin on Jan 19, 2010 in fashion, online life

Getting insurance quote online is so easy. No need to meet with agents personally or visit several insurance companies just to compare quotes. This is what I love about the Internet. Everything is just so convenient that if you choose, you don’t have to leave the house ever. I’ve seen some people had groceries brought to their houses so you won’t get hungry as well.

Best of all, you can shop all you want from the comforts of your home. And speaking about shopping, I’m thinking of getting these.

Working on my own

Posted by admin on Dec 23, 2009 in online life, work, working at home

I’m so glad that I don’t have to find a job even when the company I was working for last March decided to close shop. With so many projects coming in now that I’m a freelancer, my schedule is as busy as when I’m working full time. I like to thank my loyal clients who not only give me projects almost every month but never fails to recommend me to their friends and colleagues. I could say that most of my projects now are through word of mouth. I don’t even advertise and yet I receive plenty of requests which makes me feel so blessed. It helps that I have finally updated my portfolio site so I also receive a few offers from that as well. The best of all, I manage my own time and don’t need to answer to anyone’s rules.

10 Great Things About the Holidays

Posted by admin on Dec 7, 2009 in online life

1. Holiday feasts everywhere you go.

2. A reason to spend money on gifts, clothes and things you’d normally wouldn’t buy but because it’s Christmas, you can.

3. Year-end bonuses.

4. Parties – booze and more food!

5. Kids caroling or performing in school for this special season.

6. Family reunions – seeing people you only see every year or two years. Having the oldies gush on how old you are and feel old seeing kids grow up as well.

7. Buying, wrapping and giving gifts to everyone. The gift of giving has never been truer for me.

8. Lots of dinner shows and events both for the family and kids.

9. Fireworks.

10. A chance to start anew next year.
