The life insurance rate lately are so amazing I can’t help but want to get another one now that a new baby is on the way. I’ve been asked this question plenty of times – do you need life insurance quotes? My answer is always no unless my husband asks me to research for a new policy or educational plan. Still, I always receive them via email even if I don’t ask for them. I’m thinking it could be that most companies still have my record from my previous online requests, around 2 or 3 yrs ago. I wonder if they sell these private records with each other? It’s the same with credit cards, we get them without even applying at all. Normally, I’d be happy but who knew what other private information are being exchanged?

My friend is thinking of buying an orlando timeshare and I can’t help but be envious of her good fortune. Here I am still can’t afford even the modest of all timeshares while she obviously ran out of properties to buy. To be fair however, it’s not luck but pure hard work. She’s known to never take a break, vacation leaves and sick leaves that her company had to force her to take a whole week for everyone’s sake.

I’ve been teased for being a workaholic but nothing can hold a candle to this friend of mine when it comes to working non-stop. I do admire what she’s become though. If you ask her however, she’ll say she’d rather have a family of her own that she can spoil instead of multiple properties. Her time will come I know just as I know that our time will eventually arrive when we can purchase houses left and right as well.

Sometimes I can’t believe it when people tell me they don’t have credit cards. It’s not that they never had one, it’s either they prefer to pay in cash or banks refuse to give them one anymore. Our car had its first break down last week. I shouldn’t have signed up for the cheapest car insurance because the repair wasn’t included in the package. Luckily, I have allotted a special budget for cases such as this so we were able to have it fixed immediately. And we take such good care of our car that the damage wasn’t that big. Still, I think it’s time to think about upgrading to a bigger vehicle now that baby #2 is on her way.

My mother is not one, she’s just too soft hearted to compete. I heard her on the phone talking about the real estate in Indianapolis. Turned out she has a client who decided to invest a property there instead of the original vacation home here in the Philippines. That’s too bad for my mom because she’ll definitely get a huge commission if she bagged that deal. Still, she’s not losing hope because she keeps getting inquiries and I know one of these days, with her patience and dedication, her chance will come. Se doesn’t have to be a shark, just determined.

Diamonds for the Girls
