I knew my friend will not have a problem choosing between several Medical Transcriptionist Jobs that are available online. She’s a good transcriptionist and I know that the right company is just within reach. Her decision to stay at home to take care of her 5 month old son is her best so far. She can now take jobs and work from the comforts of her house and still manage to look after her baby. Working from home is not for everybody but knowing how focused she can be, I’m sure she will love it just like I do.

There are a few things that only happen to people once in a lifetime. The prospect of proposing to your beloved is one of these things. In addition to being rare, proposing to your beloved is also something that you want to happen as perfectly as possible simply because of the extent to which you have emotionally invested in it.
As you most probably already know, one of the most crucial elements of any proposal is the engagement ring. This means that if you want to impress your beloved and propose in the best way possible, you should do so with a perfect engagement ring. However, choosing engagement rings could be one of the most difficult tasks you ever have to undertake.

These cuff link gifts will be perfect for my friend who’s celebrating this 33rd next week. I am so lazy to look for gifts online anymore that as soon as I saw these, I added them in the cart. I would’ve gotten the superhero cuff links but I’m pretty sure his wife will not like it as much as he will. She has been urging him to dress professionally, hence the need for cuff links. So since I don’t want to cause disagreement, I will give him a gift that she will love and he can use. I’ll just add some funky socks so he will not feel too bad about dressing up like an adult.

Finally! I managed to accomplish one task on my to-do list. I’ve started downloading Mickey Mouse Clubhouse photos that I can use for my daughter’s birthday invitations. Her party is on June 12th so I need to distribute the invites on the last weekend of May. Luckily, most of the guests confirmed two weeks ago when I emailed them my Save the Date. I’m glad finding the right images are simple, thanks to the Internet. Of course, I made sure that the images that I will use have the proper license. I’ll be using them as a background only and will keep the focus on my daughter’s photo and styled text.
Speaking of Mickey Mouse, I found this online (it says Nicole’s Cakes) and just loved the design! I love how all the characters are present and not just Mickey. I’m definitely going to use this color scheme for our balloons and linens.

I’m glad blackheads is not a problem for me anymore. But if you’re still one of the millions who are struggling to make them go away permanently, click on the link to learn more. I’ve used to try all sorts of homemade remedies from fruits to cooking stuff but none of them worked. Only when I got pregnant did they manage to become unnoticeable and up to know, I am still lucky to be free of them. Of course, I still have the occasional breakouts and the always present eyebags that could rival a raccoon’s eye.

Thank God for roadside assistance! My friend managed to get home safely when she was stranded during last week’s storm. This is why I myself refuse to drive. NO matter how much my husband nags me, I can’t bring myself to learn. I’m too scared to get stuck in traffic, storm or any other unexpected disasters. Plus I’ve seen so many road accidents that I can’t imagine myself being the one controlling the vehicle. I know I need to learn as soon as possible, now that we have two kids that need to be taken everywhere. But for now, I’m happy to be a passenger and if there’s no driver available, we can always get a cab.

It’s been awhile since I’ve heard of promise ring finger. In fact, if I remember correctly, the last time I heard and used it was when I was 15. Anyway, during last week’s dinner, a friend of mine told me how she saw a ring on her 12-year-old daughter. She married young, by the way, so we are not that old yet! She was so shocked but asked in a nonchalant way what it was for and who gave it to her. When her daughter replied that it came from her boyfriend as a promise that they will get married when they turn 25, she was suddenly taken back to the time when all she did was hang out with boys and do things that will make any parent crazy. (which is why she got married young)
Right then and there, she turned into a momzilla, grounded her daughter and just basically ruin their week or months, depending on how it turns out. Now that she’s thinking clearly, she realized that she shouldn’t have acted that way. What she should’ve done was talk to her and explain that she’s too young to be thinking of such things. I couldn’t blame her though. Parenting is hard. You may think you have it all down pat but one unexpected act could make you forget what Oprah, Dr. Phil or any of those new-age celebrities preach.

A friend of mine takes an acne pill daily to control her skin breakouts. It’s a bit expensive but she’s so used to it that she doesn’t mind the expense anymore. In fact, it’s already included in her monthly budget so she will actually save money if she stopped taking one. Anyway, the reason why I’m blogging about this is women will do all kinds of stuff to be beautiful. Whether it’s for acne, losing weight, hair extension or plastic surgery, it’s not uncommon for a woman to spend a lot of money to get her desired effect. As for me, I don’t spend a lot on beauty products / maintenance but that’s just because I don’t have the budget. If I’m as financially comfortable as some of my friends are, I’d have my own dermatologist as well and undergo several body treatments.

If only we had discount bridesmaid dresses like this when I went to my cousin’s wedding 15 yrs ago, I wouldn’t look like an oompa-loompa with my orange puffed sleeves and layers of ugly lace. The funny thing is that soon-to-be-brides always say that OUR (the bridesmaids) dresses are nice enough that you can cut them after so you can wear it as a party dress. But it never works, I tell you and I should know for I’m a proud owner of more than seven bridesmaid dresses that hasn’t seen the light of day after the wedding.

Seeing log furniture reminds me of the rustic, cabin homes where my husband and I used to stay. It’s been awhile since we went on an out of town trip and I miss it a lot. We do travel but always at kid-friendly locations which translates to modern hotels and gardens designed to ward off mosquitoes and bugs. I hope we can go back to that bed and breakfast inn again, smell the pine cones and hear the birds sing upon waking up. As soon as we can leave our youngest at home, I’ll ask the husband to go back that bed and breakfast so we can also revisit the past.
