I’m so happy with my point and shoot. I was just browsing some macro shots from my cam and just can’t believe something so nice could come out of something so light and slim. My search for digital cameras are definitely over. At least until the next best thing comes out in the market again. I really couldn’t bring our DSLR all the time anymore plus it sort of ruins my outfit as I need to carry a big bag or camera bag with me just to protect it. With my small but powerful point-and-shoot, I can dress as I please and still have awesome pictures!

Just some samples:

1. Do you celebrate Memorial Day with a picnic, cookout, road trip or some other way?
We don’t really celebrate Memorial Day but I’d take any chance I can get to throw a cookout for friends.

2. What are staples at your summer time cookouts?
Fresh salad, pasta and BBQ / grilled steaks

#3. What drink do you find most refreshing on a hot summer day?
Lemonade or iced tea.

#4. Share a recipe for a picnic side dish.
Antipasto Pasta Salad

(12 servings)
A delicious Italian-style pasta, meat, vegetable and cheese combination with a homemade dressing. It serves a crowd and is great for a picnic, celebrations, and get-togethers as well as a light meal served with bread.
Ingredients

1 pound seashell pasta

1/4 pound Genoa salami, chopped

1/4 pound pepperoni sausage, chopped

1/2 pound Asiago cheese, diced

1 (6 ounce) can black olives, drained and chopped

1 6oz. jar of chopped pimientos, drained

1 6 oz. jar of artichokes, drained and chopped coarse

1 red bell pepper, diced

1 green bell pepper, chopped

3 tomatoes, chopped

1 garlic clove, minced very fine

3 scallions, chopped

1 (.7 ounce) package dry Italian-style salad dressing mix

3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

2 tablespoons dried oregano

1 tablespoon dried parsley

1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

salt and ground black pepper to taste

Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain, and cool under cold water. In a large bowl, combine the pasta, salami, pepperoni, Asiago cheese, black olives, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, pimientos, artichokes, scallions, garlic and tomatoes. Stir in the envelope of dressing mix. Cover, and refrigerate for at least one hour.
To prepare the dressing, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, oregano, parsley, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Just before serving, pour dressing over the salad, and mix well. Enjoy!

Got it from this site.

For me, it would be gorging mouthfuls of quality chocolates from Gertrude Hawk Chocolates. I love this site because they have all kinds of chocolatey treats for all ages. Whether you’re shopping for yourself, your kids, or for corporate gifts, Gertrude is the perfect place to go. And did I mention how cheap they are? The Chocolate Bunnies just in time for Easter cost from $1.39 to $10. You can even create your own basket so your gift will have a personal touch.

As for me, I’d definitely splurge on any of these Dark Chocolate Smidgens for $9.99 each. There’s Dark chocolate orange which I can already taste in my mouth, peanut butter (husband’s favorite), raspberry, coconut custard, walnut brownie and many more.
