I am skipping work just to browse on bridal gowns. I know! I always complain about having too much work yet here I am, doing something useless. In my defense, my friend really needs my help in choosing the perfect style for her. Since I am one of the bridesmaids, I can’t very well say no, can I? But back to the gowns, I can’t help but remember my own wedding preparations. How it was filled with wedding gowns and seating people and caterers and flowers. People say it wouldn’t matter years after the wedding but thinking about it now, it does matter. The details will always stay in the brides’s mind no matter if it’s ten or twenty years ago.

Forget about diet pills OR supplements for weight loss. If you want to feel better, the right pair of earrings or chunky necklace can do wonders to your ego. Just like a nice pair of shoes can totally give your outfit a makeover, a carefully chosen jewelry will help you make a statement. These pieces however are not for the faint-hearted ones as they are not only expensive, but you might suffer from too much wanting after laying your eyes on them.

Yet before any of us can wear the gowns on my previous post, we all need to take weight loss pills that work. Not those type that supposedly worked on celebrities but the real kind that works on normal people. Celebrities have all the help they need – expensive personal chef, work-out buddies / trainers, plastic surgeons and what not. It’s no surprise that they can lose weight easily and give credit to a diet pill so they can get endorsement. OR better yet, we could all make a pact to lose weight the healthy way. No pills, no diets, no protein shakes or supplements. Just plain eating healthy and working out. Now that’s a great project before Christmas!

The first thing that I will do as soon as I get back into shape is to shop for new clothes. I’ve already lost 30lbs upon giving birth but still need to lose 15lbs more. These dresses from Forever21 will inspire me to eat healthy and exercise so I can finally reach my weight goal. After all, you can’t wear any of these if you don’t have killer thighs, can you?

I already have a long handle in Bilberry but who says you can only have one Longchamp Le Pliage? With so many colors to choose from, it’s just to tempting to buy each for every outfit.
Here are the colors that I’m planning to get next.

The last one is a special edition which I can’t find anywhere anymore! The badges that are available now doesn’t look as good.

Tom and Katie’s height difference never cease to amaze me. Look at the first photo. Katie seems to be wearing a three-inch clogs yet Tom doesn’t seem too vertically challenged. Okay, granted that his shoes have at least 1 1/2 heels but still, it doesn’t look as bad as the second photo. Height-wise, they are so not compatible. But they just both look so good whether it’s on a normal day (or is it?) or the red carpet that their heights don’t matter at all. Totally diggin’ Katie’s dress btw.

Stumbled upon this photo gallery of 20 Years of Fashion Highs and Lows. You could say that diet pills are still not popular back in the 80s. They are so lucky that the anorexic look wasn’t the trend yet. I believe chunky legs and arms were even considered sexy. But kidding aside, I do think people would still rather exercise back then than starve themselves to death. Which is why they look healthy with their meaty yet toned muscles than skeletal and deathly.

Gawd, these photos just make my day. No need for back acne treatments for these ladies if they can wear something as fabulous.
Blake Lively – Just love this girl. She’s so pretty and her body is just gorgeous. She’s your all-American girl. Blonde, big and curvy.
Rachel Nichols – Wow! That dress is just stunning. I wonder when or where I can wear a dress like this.
Mandy Moore – have you been working out? Fab!
Carmen Electra
Kate Hudson – Now that’s a sexy back and a sexy dress. Love love her!
From Plum Sykes of Vogue
Wearing a backless dress is demanding. It requires the right back – neither too fleshy nor too bony.
