Not That Girl

I’ve never received any Valentines flowers my whole life. Although I don’t want to receive any and would prefer chocolates and other gifts like handbags , jewelry or something handmade, I am still surprised that no one has ever gotten me flowers. Ever! Not even suitors, ex-boyfriends and husband. I do envy my girlfriends who receive bouquet of flowers during anniversaries or birthdays. I admit it’s a great way to make someone else envy you har-har. But having said all that, I still say it would be a waste of money if it’s given to me. It’s a different story though if I am the one giving it as I love buying flowers for friends, colleagues and relatives.
