Our baby just turned over on her own yesterday. I got so excited I forgot to take photos! It also made me realize that she will be mobile soon so we can’t leave her on the bed unattended anymore. This morning, I asked our helper to unearth all our babyproofing items including the ones for the electric sockets, door knobs, bath tub and door stoppers. Some of them couldn’t be found anymore so we’ll have to make sure to purchase a new set before our little one can crawl. A quick search on the net and I saw that there are now newer models and even more items that can ensure your baby’s safety. I doubt we’ll need all of them since we have our own helper and that I work from home.
But just to be sure, I’ll get some of these. They are too cute so I couldn’t resist.

My neighbor is rambling on and on about the cost of motor home repairs during last week’s homeowners meeting. I used to think getting a motor home would be nice after seeing it in “Meet the Parents”. However, after listening, or should I say eavesdropping on my neighbor’s conversation with his wife, I wonder if it’s worth it. I guess like in any other purchase of big ticket items, you really need to be loaded to be able to afford the maintenance that comes with it. After all, the price of the motor home itself is not a joke. I really liked it because I find it cool to have your own bathroom, kitchen and bedroom with you when you’re traveling.
My daughter went home with a letter from their school asking for donations for sports trophies. At first, I was going to complain (albeit silently) but then I remembered that there’s this web site where I can buy them for a cheaper price. Also, these trophies will be given to my daughter and her classmates so I don’t see any reason why I don’t share their school spirit. Now I’m excited and can’t wait for their school activities so I can take lots of pictures for her scrapbook. I may as well go above and beyond my responsibilities / assigned tasks and help with the events food preparation as well. Not that I could cook but I know exactly where to buy those wrapped salads and burritos which are always a hit with both the kids and their parents.
I don’t care about effective diet pills anymore thanks to my recent weight loss. Based from last weigh in, I only have to lose 6 more pounds then I’ll be back to my pre-pregnancy shape. After losing about 45 pounds in 3 months, I thought losing the last 6 will be easy. But as it turns out, it’s always harder to shake off the last pounds. Not when I’m feeling confident that I’ve started eating cakes, plates of rice and tons of sugar-laden snacks. It’s all good though. If I lose 1lb a month, I will still meet my weight goal by the time my baby turns one next year. To celebrate, I will go shopping for new jeans this coming December. I wasn’t going to shop until I get my figure back. But now that I’m near the finish line, most of my early pregnancy/ post-pregnancy clothes are just too loose for me that I will look even more pregnant if I continue to wear them.
It’s time for some holiday shopping online for men. Just so you know, I do not only shop for myself but for my husband too. In fact, I consider him one of my babies so whatever he wants, he always gets it during the two most important dates of the year – his birthday and Christmas.
If you’re looking for gifts for the men in your life – husband, brother, father, then you might enjoy these carefully selected gift items from www.personalcreations.com. My husband’s wish list isn’t included here but I’ve already see several great items that I can give to our friends.
Watch box – $39.99
Man Cave Mugs – set of 4 – $39.99
Cool signs – $19.99
Forget about diet pills OR supplements for weight loss. If you want to feel better, the right pair of earrings or chunky necklace can do wonders to your ego. Just like a nice pair of shoes can totally give your outfit a makeover, a carefully chosen jewelry will help you make a statement. These pieces however are not for the faint-hearted ones as they are not only expensive, but you might suffer from too much wanting after laying your eyes on them.

We all know that popping zit can only make it worse. But whenever I tell my husband that, he looks at me as if I’m speaking in another language. And now he whines when he’s in front of the mirror and sees how haggard he looks. I hope he’ll listen to me and that he’ll follow my advice to cleanse-tone-moisturize every night. It’s not as tedious as it sounds really. The results are amazing and if he combines it with a straight 8-hour sleep, I’m sure his skin will be restored in no time. While he’s at it, he really needs to stop worrying about the problems of the world because it shows on his face.
Just got these for myself, thanks to Old Navy’s previous sale. Perfect for casual Christmas lunches and late afternoon barbecue parties with friends. Now all I need is a nice pair of jean-leggings, my Tory Burch black jelly sandals and Longchamp black and gold Eiffel tower to complete the look. Ah, amazing how high I can get just planning what to wear.
If ever I find myself facing acne problems, I will not put anything on my skin unless it’s a natural acne treatment. I don’t want to ruin my already problematic skin by putting foreign products on my face. You never know what could happen. In fact, even if I’m just using a moisturizer for maintenance, I still experience breakouts whenever I try something new. I hope my daughters will inherit my skin and its capacity to resist pimples and acne. I believe I got it from my mom who up to now, still reminds me to cleanse-tone-moisturize. She still looks like my older sister so I know her regimen is fail-proof.
