Sexy Back

Posted by admin on Apr 29, 2010 in fashion

Gawd, these photos just make my day. No need for back acne treatments for these ladies if they can wear something as fabulous.

Blake Lively – Just love this girl. She’s so pretty and her body is just gorgeous. She’s your all-American girl. Blonde, big and curvy.

Rachel Nichols – Wow! That dress is just stunning. I wonder when or where I can wear a dress like this.

Mandy Moore – have you been working out? Fab!

Carmen Electra

Kate Hudson – Now that’s a sexy back and a sexy dress. Love love her!

From Plum Sykes of Vogue

Wearing a backless dress is demanding. It requires the right back – neither too fleshy nor too bony.

On Life and Insurance

Posted by admin on Apr 28, 2010 in health, money matters

The life insurance rate lately are so amazing I can’t help but want to get another one now that a new baby is on the way. Also, we were trying to save when my husband and I got our first policy so we made a compromise that he’ll get the better package while I’ll just upgrade mine when he’s done paying with his. That was five years ago and now that we’ve finished all our payables, I think it’s high time to get my benefits filled and feature-packed policy. I believe we can afford to get another one because my daughter’s educational plan has already been paid in full too. To be honest, we have so many policies that our kids will be in good hands if something bad happened to us.

New Camera For Me?

Posted by admin on Apr 27, 2010 in shopping, technology

I’m thinking of selling my Canon camera again and buy an LX3 instead. I heard it has gotten so cheap now because of the new model that’s about to come out. I do love my ixus though so I may still go for Canon but with the same level as LX3. The price will have to be similar too.

image

This Canon IXUS 200 IS has a 28mm wide-angle camera which I really love. It also shoots HD movies, perfect for when the baby is here. The IS is very important for me as you know with kids, they don’t really stay in one place. I hate blurred photos but don’t like taking pictures in auto mode as well. In short, I need something that I can use for kids in action and with  manual override so I can tinker with the settings as much as I like.

Bad Mommy

Posted by admin on Apr 27, 2010 in health, me, myself and i

I always forget to take my prenatal vitamins. I even put it near my laptop just so it will be the first thing that I’ll see when I log in at work. However, as soon as I see it, I wonder if I’ve taken one already and that if I did, how much damage it will cause if I take one again. Guilt is really creeping in because I wasn’t this careless on my firstborn. Not that I don’t care, it’s just that there’s too much going on that taking care of myself has always been the least on my mind. I should remember that it’s not for me but for the baby inside me. Starting tomorrow, I’ll put the calendar near my bottle of vitamins and will make sure to check the date as soon as I take one pill.

Knight and Day – just love these two

Last but not the least – Inception. (A freaky film about technology invading people’s dreams) I’m just a fan of psych-thrillers.

Strolling Around

Posted by admin on Apr 24, 2010 in shopping

After window shopping for the baby for weeks, we have now decided what to get for the stroller. It was pretty shocking how the prices have increased in the past three years. A bob revolution duallie would set you back at least $569. I was hoping I can put my two kids in a dual stroller but after trying out with my eldest, she didn’t fit on any of them.

Anyway, we’re going for a single Maclaren Quest Sport in green and brown for $245.

It’s cheaper than what I was expecting for a Maclaren stroller so my husband and I were pretty happy with our find. We won’t buy it until the baby reaches her 3rd month. This stroller isn’t built for newborns but will be perfect 3 months and up.

Cleansing

Posted by admin on Apr 24, 2010 in health

I’m really interested to have my dad try this colon cleanser called 7-dfbx. According to web sites I’ve read, it’s double in power and can really get rid of toxins quickly unlike other so-called colon cleansers. I’ll just have to explain to him the side effects (headaches and fatigue) and to make sure he gets tons of rest. That is, if I can convince him to take one in the first place. I’d probably ask one of our doctor friends too if they have heard of this product. After all, we can’t just believe everything we read online.

Discounts Everywhere

Posted by admin on Apr 23, 2010 in web design

Ever since my client decided to create and print all kinds of direct mail marketing materials, I can safely say that I have become an expert when it comes to getting the cheapest quote. I’m now “friends” with several customer agents from various companies and always have at least 10%-15% off from all my online purchases. It’s a good relationship because not only my client can benefit from the savings but I too, have plenty of options for other of my printing projects.

Now if only I can get discounts on graphics software, that would be more than awesome!

Safe Products?

Posted by admin on Apr 21, 2010 in health, online life

I stumbled upon a site that bashes lipozene, a well-known diet pill. I was surprised that they openly tell consumers that it’s not very good but after reading the full article, it’s obvious that it’s because they are endorsing other products. It’s fine with me as long as it’s the truth and that the reviews are real. Many people don’t know what damage the Internet can do. Make sure you don’t believe everything that you see especially when it comes to products that could affect your health. Research and a visit to the doctor is still the best way to know if what you’re taking in is safe.
