just for fun
- When did you last drink something out of a glass bottle?
Just last week when I attended a friend’s birthday bash.
- Whose energy would you like to bottle for those future listless days?
My daughters. She’s like an energizer bunny these days. I envy how alert she can be no matter what time it is.
- How many plastic bottles are there in your shower, and what’s in them?
About 10-12.
Various kinds of shampoos, conditioner, baby bath, cleanser, toner, moisturizer, cologne and many more.
- Who in your life could be described as lightning in a bottle?
I’m proud to say that my husband is indeed a lightning in a bottle. He has several moments of creative brilliance and although I may disagree with some of them, I still envy how passionate he can be regardless if his “missions” reek of disaster waiting to happen.
- You’re playing Spin-the-Bottle with your sixth-grade classmates. When it’s your turn, to whom do you want the bottle pointing?
No one that I can think of. The present time is an entire different story though. The list is just so long – actors, celebrities, rockstars.

Too skinny is not only unhealthy but also ugly. Admit it! Specially designed clothes might look nice on ultra-thin models on the runway but men like girls with a little more meat on them. So try not to be obsessed in finding the best diet pills and focus on how you can lead a healthy life instead.
Having said that, I am totally digging Mischa’s look now. She looks healthy and less spacey too, which is probably because she’s so lucky to have landed a new show after her long hiatus.
I wish I could say the same for Jessica Stroup of 90210. She still looks like she could use a few trips to the sandwich bar. And a pizza joint. Or better yet, have Krispy Kreme deliver choco glazed doughnuts to her dressing room daily.

Reading colon cleansing reviews as I’ve heard nothing but raves about this. A friend of mine have been urging me go check out this new procedure but the process itself still scares me.
I’m going out to buy a birthday gift for my daughter. It’s just a couple of small things as we already gave her the big gift (a motorcycle) last week. Still, I can’t help but become excited because who wouldn’t want to play hooky on a work day to go shopping?
When I get home, I’ll probably be too tired to work so I’m going to catch up on my list of movies to watch. My daughter loves watching romance and comedy movies with me so I consider this our bonding moment too.

me, myself and i
I just spent the entire afternoon staring at the ceiling. After putting my daughter to sleep and reading my phone, I just couldn’t find the strength to get up and get back to work. My laptop takes too long to load so I figured what’s a couple of minutes more. Work can wait, but my thoughts will not. Not that I have very deep issues to think about but I suddenly feel like everything can stand still and I wouldn’t care. At that moment, my bed is my sanctuary and my daughter sleeping beside me gives me the much needed calm.
Of course, now that I’m up and working, I regret wasting an hour doing nothing. Work is always piling up, which I’m very thankful for and although they won’t go anywhere, I could do with an early log off tonight so I can enjoy my favorite TV shows and spend time with my husband.
I am not managing my time wisely, I know. But like I said, moments like this don’t happen very often and I’m allowing it only because I think I deserve it for working so hard.

The Husband is all set for this month’s F1 race in Singapore. He’s purchased all kinds of Ferrari merchandise save for Ferrari parts and have been practicing shooting in various modes. We won’t be coming with him for several reasons so I hope he’ll enjoy his very own “alone time”. He’s like a kid who’s about to see the circus the first time. We’re so lucky that for being able to snag tickets as early as day 1 (while they’re still cheap), got very affordable airfare and free accommodation thanks to our friend Tereeza who lives there.

just for fun
1. Read e-books late at night instead of sleeping. Because of this, I find it hard to sleep and always feel sluggish in the morning.
2. Squeeze the toothpaste in the middle. My husband hates this but I just keep on forgetting.
3. Leave the house at the last minute thinking I have plenty of time to kill. I always end up late, though.
4. TV series addiction. I get so affected too that I’m unable to function for days whenever a really good one ends.
5. Eat rice with pasta. What a pig! But I don’t feel full unless I ate a plate of rice even after eating a huge serving of pasta. As if I can burn burn belly fat simply by sitting all day.
6. Read my phone anywhere. Makes my eyes blurry and often than not, dizzy especially when I do it in the car.
7. Save newly downloaded files on my desktop. The result is that my desktop is so cluttered plus I’m sure I will lose all of them if ever my C: drive gets corrupted.
8. Talk inside the movie house. I just get excited that I can’t help but share my thoughts to whoever’s watching with me.
9. Leave my cellphone on vibrate so I miss a lot of phone calls and text messages. I drive my husband crazy with this habit because he always calls me when he’s out and instead of reaching me easily, he’ll have to dial our landline just so he can talk to me.
10. Obsession with Gong Yoo and Lee Min Hyo – both Korean actors.

just for fun,
online life
1. I feel very tired lately.
2. Skipping work and spending time with the little girl is always fun.
3. Right now, I can hear these things: Dibo the dragon on TV, the soft hum of airconditioner and my daughter singing.
4. It’s party time tomorrow and I’m glad to have a chance to have adult conversation again.
5. The last time I went swimming on my own was four years ago.
6. I can’t think of anything to do this Labor day weekend.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to reading a good book, tomorrow my plans include attending a party and Sunday, I want to rest but I doubt I could since I need to meet a deadline by Monday!
