just for fun
The theme/prompt for THIS week, June 16, is:
HEADS – Lost OR TAILS -Found
HEADS:
I lost five wallets, 100 handkerchiefs, five umbrellas, two purses and three jobs in the last 10 years. I often lose than find things which is why I try not to invest on too expensive items. My mom tells me that my hands have holes and she’s right. One minute, I’d be carrying a small purse in the mall, the next minute, my hands will be empty. It’s like I totally forget that I’m carrying anything at all.

Check out this great compilation of very creative websites selling t-shirts.
The first thing that you’ll notice about these sites is their great design. Most e-commerce websites use cookie-cutter designs but these online shops below are very colorful, graphic-intensive and uses styles from grungy, modern, eclectic, dark, light but never boring.
Now that’s creativity.

From wikipedia.org
The Chocolate Hills is an unusual geological formation in Bohol, Philippines.According to the latest accurate survey done, there are 1,776 hills spread over an area of more than 50 square kilometres (20 sq mi). They are covered in green grass that turns brown during the dry season, hence the name.
The Chocolate Hills are a famous tourist attraction of Bohol. It is featured in the provincial flag and seal to symbolize the abundance of natural attraction in the province.[2] It is in the Philippine Tourism Authority’s list of tourist destinations in the Philippines; it has been declared the country’s 3rd National Geological Monument and proposed for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Most people who first see pictures of this landscape can hardly believe that these hills are not a man-made artifact. However, this idea is quickly abandoned, as the effort would surely surpass the construction of the pyramids in Egypt. Further:
There is no natural formation like them in the world.[5] From a distance, they look like half a ball grown out of the ground. The molehill-shaped and almost uniformly sized hills dot the landscape with green and brown.

I’m loving these Father’s Day gift ideas from Martha Stewart’s site.
All of these items are very affordable while some cost nothing. I suggest make your gift as memorable as possible so when mother’s day comes, you can have your much awaited LV handbag, new stilettos or even zero radius sinks, which I lately found out cost a lot.

Personalized bookmarks. Add his photo or your little ones’ and turn simple gifts into something memorable.

Cut-out frame using the letters of his name.

My favorite. Coupons for almost all kinds of things – free massage, kisses, car washing duties.

Now this my husband will very much appreciate. He’s just into all kinds of tools even if he rarely use them.

Have you ever heard of someone requesting tv stands for wedding gifts? Definitely not me but a friend of mine just added it in their registry today. I checked standsandmounts.com and saw that stands and tv consoles with cabinets range from $120-$300. So now I’m leaning towards getting one for my soon-to-be married friends. Besides, we always share our gifts with another couple especially if it costs $100 and up.
Another option is a long computer table that the newlymarried couple can use. They are moving to an entirely bare flat so their registry range from curtains, silverwares, cabinets, dining table, bathroom mirror, bedspread, computer table and tv stands.

me, myself and i
For this week’s Ten on Tuesday.
Oooh I can think of a hundred things to do but 10 will suffice for now.
1. Read my favorite books/ebooks
2. Dance to Pussycat Dolls music
3. Surf, surf and surf the net. I lose myself simply by browsing through celebrity blogs.
4. Watch DVDs of my favorite TV shows especially those that I can’t watch when my husband is around. Translation: mushy films that leaves you crying every 10 minutes
5. Have a full body massage while listening to alternative rock
6. A long bubble bath with scented candles and soft music
7. Window shopping by myself. The best stress reliever especially if you have extra money so you can buy what you want without feeling guilty.
8. Draw, play a guitar or take self portraits.
9. Take a long, nice swim. I used to do this when we were living in a condominium 4 years ago. No one swims in the rooftop pool during weekday mornings so it was just me, the water and the sky.
10. The best of all – sleep all day.

Is it okay to think that a 20-ish year old kid is hot? I can’t wait for him to grow up. See full gallery here from Perezhilton.com.
