Wordless Wednesday – Sewing Machine
I haven’t been blogging lately but I’d like to share this photo with you. This machine was an essential part of my life. It’s what helped my mom send me and my brother to College so we can have a wonderful future.

If you’re like my friend who believed that the below photo is possible, you’re probably one of those who frequent sites that offers diet pill reviews. Not that there’s anything wrong with shopping for diet pills. But if you’re getting obsessed about your weight and losing focus on everything no matter how many diet pills you take, then I suggest you hit the gym or run around the block so you can tell yourself that you’re doing something about your weight problem.
This reminds me of a movie that I saw last night. It was about two teenage girls suffering from bulimia. No matter what they do – exercise, diet, they still see themselves as fat. There was this one scene where the other girl was asked to describe what she sees in front of the mirror and all she can point out were her big thighs, huge arms and protruding belly. But the truth is, she was just a normal looking kid, only she doesn’t see it. Every part of her body gets magnified so she feels like all her efforts just go to waste. To cut the story short, her friend died from heart attack which led her to face her problems and see a professional.

NOT! I showed this recent photoshop disaster to a friend and she couldn’t see what the disaster was. For her, the waist looked fine and although bordering on weird, she said it could be that her body was really built like that. Well, she wouldn’t be a lingerie model if that’s the case right?
