Investing on Jewelries

My mother-in-law frowns upon the purchase of luxury bags. I always hold my tongue and try not to tell her that she has about 8-10 of them in her closet. She must have probably forgotten or she’s gotten wiser now so she stopped buying them. Whatever’s the case, I hope she will consider me a good enough daughter-in-law to give them to me in the future.

Speaking of extravagances, she once told me that I if I really want to invest on accessories, I should invest on jewelry. I used to have a few pieces of gold chain when I was young but I don’t remember what happened to me. I asked my husband before if he will wear those famous 5mm chain bracelets but he said I would just be wasting money if I buy him one. Now that we have a daughter, I have a reason to splurge on jewelry. Ever since she was born, I’ve wanted to buy her a pair of diamond studs and a nice gold necklace that she can wear on special occasions.
